Thought you guys might like a laugh . Someone local here is advertising on a local site a single 1946 Chevy truck headlight as a rare " CYCLOP " headlight for the vintage rear engined German people movers. Pretty smart i would say as the bids are up to 180 euro. Or are the bidders ****ers ?

That is the super rare cyclops headlight for the 46 Chevrolet pickups and cars. Very valuable to ****ers!

 

180 Euro is $178.72 USD.

Pairs of these, in similar condition routinely sell for $400 USD in eBay. That's 402.86 Euro.

While the back story may be bunk (I have no idea where the lights for "vintage rear engined German people movers" were sourced) but the price is not out-of-line.

 

Thats interesting . Pretty sure there would be at least one pair at any given swap meet in the U.S.A. for $100. Lately i,ve only seen ( on the web ) the single ones end up as air filter housings on those RatRods we don,t talk about. BTW, there are probably only a handfull of those Chevy pickups and big trucks here .
