History Appleton Spotlight Mirrors

    Anybody ever uses these?

    Never seen any pics of them actually being used.

    considering an Appleton with this mirror on my 39 merc.

    any pics with one being used?

    Neat, I've seen similar ones on Guide spotlights but never an Appleton. The 550 model Appletons that these seem to fit are not the teardrop shaped ones that are popular though, and I don't know that the base would match up with the shape of a S-552 or a 112.

    That would be a super cool item to have, but I'm not sure I'd want to use it if I had to run a 550 style spotlight.

    ^^ those are the ones I've seen before. The Appleton one is different, it's got more of an arm to it and it's meant to mount to a flatter surface, not the tip like the Guide ones do. It's super cool, I just think unless the spotlight shape is a perfect match to the mounting base, it's not going to sit flush.
