CL comes through again. Complete ch***is and engine, plus a TT frame delivered to my door for 650. Pretty stoked. Just didn't get steering column. 4 dip pan and late hogs head. Earlier trans, so will be on the hunt for a 26/27 trans with the big brake drum. I am mulling using the TT frame for the speedster. 5" deep vs. 3" would cut down on the flexing (and look better).



Got the second frame all broken down and in the corner.

Just looked, still on speedway calendar for 13 May 2017, but as usual, inaccurate. This year the cars eligible to run are '59 and earlier. Hope to see some tri 5 chevys and others.

 

Great idea using the TT ch***is. I've often considered swapping mine to a truck frame

As I am 6'2" the extra length will help. Plus will have room for a super cool boat tail.
