I'm trying to put together a list of all of the front engine dragsters (currently or soon to be) in race-ready condition, that are located in teh central United States. I'm putting together a five race series, this summer, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I don't know a good way to contact the racers.

If you're interested or not. If you know someone that has a rail, let's list them here. I'll start:

    Randy Compton
    Gold Digger
180" 1966 Jeg's Speed Shop kit (Rebuilt by Spitzer)
blown smallblock Chevy - on Gas

Won't be ready for a couple of months, but I'm game for some racing when I'm finished.

I am teaming up with the Outlaw G***er ***oiciation, out of Tulsa. Several of these guys are HAMB'ers.

    HERE'S THE LATEST SCHEDULE:

    May 1st. -- Outlaw G***er ***ociation #1
    June 5 -- Outlaw G***er ***ociation #2
    July 10 -- Outlaw G***er ***ociation #3
    August 14 -- Outlaw G***er ***ociation #4
    Sept. 25 -- Outlaw G***er ***ociation #5 (Nitro Nationals)

Note how these dates lead up to the HAMB Drags.

Since Tulsa is going NHRA, It would be best to get the frame checked out. Ch***is inspection day is March 6th. You might not be that far off of curent specs. Not evey car has to be rated for "Top Fuel". I'm going for a 7.50 sticker. You might end-up with a 10.99 certification, and still have a ball.

Let's get a list together, certified or not.

Even if you don't want to race at Tulsa, I think this list is worthwhile.

I am working on contacting the SWJF guys in the Tulsa area (thanks Mike). It looks like we'll have a good turnout for these race dates.

I know a lot of folks would like to know about (and see) the Cackle Cars in this area.

Come to as many races as you can Bud. Glad to have you.

Randy,Im in if the altereds are still going to run with the fed's.
1/4 or 1/8 mile? Keep up the good work, there is alot of cars out there that is setting idle that could run this deal and have a good time.
