Does anyone have pics of a flathead equiped with ardun heads. Need to know how to run the wires. Any help would be great.
Camera is not working correctly, if someone can lighten this please do. From an original ARDUN sales brochure.
Not trying to pick at you, but you have Ardun's but can't figure out how to run the wires? Kind of like having a race car but don't know how to drive.
Here's Ermie Immerso's with neat, almost stock-like wire looms. On Dave Simard's Tom Senter motor, we ran the wires under the intake to the mag.
Yeah, I'm sorry but I was thinking along the same line! haha. Those engines are beautiful. Post a pic of yours we don't care if it has wires yet or not.
The Ardun in Micke Fors ´32 Roadster, Enköping, Sweden: Micke own and runs the local rod shop here in town, Prinsbo Mekaniska.
i actually dont have one. The reason i asked about it was for my son who builds models. He just bought a kit and it has a ardun flatty in it and he wants to wire it. So he needed pics fer it. He tryed google but only came up with junk. Thanks to all of you for posting the pics. It helped him out alot. Sorry for the mix up. I wish i had arduns though
That makes perfect sense and that is what I was kind of thinking was probably the situation. I use to build a lot of models when I was a kid and I remember asking myself similar questions like that about things that I had never seen in person. Unfortunately, didn't have the internet back then or anyone to ask, so I usually just made something up. Kudos for being a good dad! Regardless, thanks anyway. This thread is coughing up some pretty nice shots to look at.
Yeah, Their making arduns again, and If I had a pair for my Baby That would mean I had an extra $12,000.00 layin' around. " SOMEDAY"!
That is the most beautiful engine I can think of. Everytime someone mentions Ardun, I think of this one. This is better than a Hemi, a Nailhead, a Rocket and I'm not even especially a fan of flatheads but this one just seems right. Pete
That's not an Ardun. That's a Chevy. http://www.museumofamericanspeed.com/Collections/Engines/AllAlphaE006.shtml
