Added an additional exhaust tappet oil line to the heads and we removed all tappet noise completely with the addition of doing a lash set up using the dial not feeler gauges…they lie. Runs insanely well. Naturally aspirated 239 flatty. Austin intake with a 570 vac secondary holley, howards stage 2 cam, mercury forged crank from flathead jack, mellings oil thru a filter and the Don Orosco 1002 series heads. Running it thru a 3.25 9inch and a C4 auto. A custom set of headers by Beach Ball at Pro Street. Engine built by Austech Engines. Some kind of engine savant.

Thankyou mate. There are many excellent Aussie and Kiwi engine builders just like you guys, we love it and we are big V8 guys as well. Yes the Allies kicked ass in the Sth Pacific and we were good jungle fighters. We cleared those Islands and battled together against the Japs. Brothers!!! No way out mate haha
