I'm planning on building an Ardun using Don Ferguson's heads on an 8ba block. The engine will be for street use. I plan to run 3 twos or possibly a blower. Any advice one could give would be greatly appreciated - such as possible builders, bore and stroke, cam and possible pitfalls.

RonnieRoadster is a great choice but he's clear across the country. I'd try Ferguson, they're his heads so he's familiar with what needs to be done. He's done a good number of them, not the cheapest but maybe one of the best. Nice guy so don't be intimidated. There are other builders but there's been mixed reviews on their quality.

  7. I can say for sure if the 8BA block is factory relieved then the heads will not work.
