Not sure if these are true Keystones or knockoffs but I think they look cool. The car is O/T for this forum but I still like the look. Pics pirated from Los Boulevardos. There a lot of super cool 50's 60's and 70's Kustoms on that board, a lot of creativity going on for sure.

Best looking model A coupe I ever saw had Keystone Classics. Full fendered with 15x4 fronts and 15x10 rears. That car is why I got into hotrodding.

What other style wheels did Keystone make in the 60's and 70's?

They look good here! I really guess it does depend on the combination.

I just put a pair in my scrap bin. I couldn't give them away. If anybody wants a pair then get ahold of me ASAP. They need a re-chrome.

  11. Don't know if they're cool or not. Depends on who's looking at it. This belongs to a guy I know. It's the real deal 60's/70's street racer. He's owned it since the early 70's. I think it's cool as hell. This car is like two lane black top. But, real.

  13. I have an all black set on my 39 Plymouth pick up, had to paint them as chrome was shot. I love em and think they look great on my truck!

Good to see this thread staying the course. 3 years now!

Not the best pic but all I have to hand.[IMG]

More of a late 60's, early '70's thing. I can't think of many HAMB worthy cars they would look good on.

Never was a fan, even when they were somwhat popular. I will say though, they DO look good on that Riviara a few posts back.

I used to hate them, now I still hate them. Never liked the way they looked and they are definitely more well suited for a muscle car era vehicle.

I've always liked them! Klassic Kool ;)

The black painted portion really made for awesome relfections as the wheel is turning. I had a set of Keystone Klassics on a Nova in high school. I had numerous near rear end collisions from admiring my car in store windows while driving down main street when cruising... :D

I remember as a kid seeing a 71 chevelle SS black with white stripes that had the Klassics on it, looked good. I think they are good for black cars, others not so much. Cragar SS were better for every color including black.

To each his own, I guess, but even
'back in the day', when they were
new, I thought they were FUGLY.
