My wife's cousin sent pics over today of his friend out for a nice mid-january roadster run, looks a little chilly but he's got a big ass grin on his face!

I just hope he has a heated garage to put it in. Otherwise it will look that way until Memorial Day :D

When you get as little nice days as we do, you make do with what you get!

When I worked on the Corvette program, I used to drive convertibles with the top down all year round.. But most of those cars had heated seats and really good heaters.. :)

Think of it as an old timey snowmobile!

Come on... Obviously someone threw snow on this thing. They don't look like that just from driving in the snow... Either way, he seems to be enjoying himself. CTJ

  17. Heck, it was 70' for a couple days back around the 10th, good roadster weather, I half expected to see pictures of that.

I saw a guy out with a '55 Chevy 4dr the other night and thought he was nuts - but only because of all the damn salt on the road.

Not sure about Michigan people, but your driving me nuts. Haven't
spent a winter in the white north for 25 yrs. or more and these
pics really make me miss it.:confused::confused: I lived for snow on the roads
in the winter or a fresh snow on a parking lot. Wonder if
I could still do my name in cursive:rolleyes:. Thanks for the memories.

I know what it's like to drive my roadster around the block at 18 degrees,,,add cold ass snow ,,,,ain't no way,,,HRP

  21. WooHoo, looks like fun. I'll ride shotgun

  22. C'mon guys. You know when it snows like this in Michigan it's acually pretty warm outside compared to our bitterly-cold no-snow days that we have during most of the winter.

On the other hand, you can bet this is one time you won't see a Ford flatty overheating too easily :)

  23. I remember driving on 23 in an ice storm years ago- watched a semi slide back down an offramp and taking every car behind it right down with it!!!

X2 on the 'it has to warm up to snow'.

Looks like a blast. But I think I would have a different hat (don't have one like that:D).
