Are Tech threads locked?

I just read through the long flathead build tech thread that began in July '04 and thought I'd add some new info and correct some things I said back then (not by editing old posts, of course), but got a message that says I'm not authorized to post there.

So, is it possible to add to a thread that has been sent to Tech?

    TIA for your answer . . .

    Mike,

I would be happy to do it for you.

post a follow-up thread or pm me what you want added.

Thanks, Paul, I appreciate your offer for help. But I was thinking more in terms of the thread remaining open so I could add over time, not only items that are current but those that will likely come up.

If a follow-up thread is the only way to handle it, I can probably get into that. Might take a few days to organize my thoughts and put it together.

    Thanks.
