Just wondering what is the best way to learn how to do interior work. I would like to learn how but was wondering if the local community college/ trade school was the best way or are there places to learn?
I've been doing interiors for 11 years...I started in a trim shop when I was in high school, then ventured out onto my own a few years later...Learning to wrap things is easy, it's the sewing that takes some time to learn...I bought a machine, and just started using scrap pieces and taught myself...You can get a good starter machine for a couple hundred bucks...As far as trade schools, save your money and go to the hard knock school...Good luck, and feel free to ask me any questions... JP [/ QUOTE ] Tell us about $200 starter machines. Brand, model and where can I get one. It looks like the Pfaffs on Ebay start at about $600.
I personally use a consew, put you can look for juki or the pfaff is good...I'm not saying 200.00, I guess I put it wrong...4-600 is a good price...I paid 900.00 for mine 10 years ago, and it still works like a dream...check the larger local papers...You can sometimes find good stuff there... JP
