A student of mine has these wheels for sale. Are they worth anything? Their 14" Radar Wheel corp part number PBR-100-R. Steel hoops with an aluminum center. Thanks.

Is the fuzzy picture hiding the unfixable but typical rusty chrome?

I think they were around $17.99 each, new at the local discount department store... [IMG]

I think those wheels cost Barris about as much as the car did.

The original Radar Wheels were Aluminum and Steel.
The new Radir Wheels are 1 piece cast Aluminum.

Great pic, just like those old 50's prom photos. The one where the girl is sitting in the car with the hem of her dress between the door and rockers.

Yup, Radar not Radir, and yes the pic is hiding the rusty chrome, but it's not that rusty.

The ones on the BATMOBILE, were from ANSEN,,
I have one of the original receipts and they cost more then one dollar..

The SPENDY wheels were the ONES on JOHN WAYNES station wagon, I think GEORGE had to SELL another GIMMICK to REVEL to finance those,,,

Germ, George was a Rader dealer for a brief time in the mid-60's. I've seen all the photos before your boy worked there. Later the batmobile got ansens when the raders rusted.

What does the student want for the wheels????? and what bolt pattern

Chevy bolt pattern, they're off his S-10. I don't know what he's asking yet.
