    The parts thing aside
The biggest piss off on this site is the people that ask for advice and or help ….. You freely give your hard earned advice or knowledge and its not even acknowledged
You people ? know who you are and I wouldn’t loan you a cup of cold piss.

  3. And I got a cup of cold piss I am hoarding also .... for those tirds that ask for an opinion and get their panties in a wad when it isnt the message they want to hear.

  4. This is directed to the OP and others that bitch about the price of parts listed here or that bitch about the people that are here to sell parts and don't otherwise contribute. As far as I am concerned you are no different than these people that you are complaining about if you are not a Alliance member. If it isn't worth $50.00 to you to help support this place then don't complain about the way it is run or used by others. Don't expect people to give you a hand if you can't lend Ryan a hand. It's as simple as that!
As far as the way it used to be, I don't ever remember guy's giving parts away or losing money on things they bought unless you were a close friend. We paid the asking price if we really wanted it.
This is my 2 cents and if what I have said pisses you off, get over it. Just saying...

Do your homework, avoid the people real proud of their parts, I learned a long time ago that everything I have is sh*t and everything anybody else has is gold.

There are sellers who are dreamers and buyers who are dreamers. A seller will want too much for an item in your eyes, so move on tell you find a good price. Some buyers are just plan cheap skates and want everything for nothing.

Some guys will bitch about your part being too high even though it's a quality piece. I usually tell them to take it or leave it and good luck finding a quality price at my price.

I have one friend that I will no longer sell or trade parts with he always wants top dollar for his stuff and then wants to low ball me on mind. So, we can stay friends all deals are off with him.:D

I've learned that it's best to give someone a deal for something, because it will be sold eventually, either by you at a discount while you're alive or by your survivors for a discount at your estate sale.

In the old days these were just old junk parts. They were often worth nothing. I rarely give away Deuce parts, but 20-30 year old parts I give them away or sell em cheap if they're common.

Absolutely we are NOT here to financial assist or support each other. Sharing knowledge, learning, teaching...that is, to me and many others, the reason to be here. Parts are shared amongst those with whom we associate in reality. Friends that we actually know, have met, visit for BS sessions. Friends we know in reality. I do not believe that the H.A.M.B. or any other website that communicates only via the internet is quite the same. Need something in my shop? It is I/me who puts the price on it, not the guy who wants it. Make an offer. Too low, walk. I have never been offered more than I would have asked. Price for that part you need, want, too high? Oh, well. Move on. After all, this is not a socialist community. Hopefully it never will be.
