I bought a Mustang II cross member for my 64 Comet back in 1998 from a place called Arizona Ford. That is how they advertised in a magazine. I thought they had changed there name the last time I looked them up but can not find any info now. I have been pleased with the cross member and the ride and also liked the way they used the factory strut rod location to mount there strut rods. It seemed to me to be really strong that way and used all stock Mustang II components so it was cheaper also. So does anyone know any info on the company I am talking about and if they are still around ? Thanks,Jim

  2. There is the Old Ford Store in tucson and they are still in business now owned by Peter but as far as I know he does not fab up kits just installs ones already out on the market. You could talk to ElPalcko here on the HAMB who ownes Industrial Chassis.

The cross member that Arizona Ford sold were made by a company called Rod Factory here in Phoenix that closed it's doors about three years ago after the owner's death. Ironically, the Falcon Mustang cross member that Rod Factory sold to Arizona Ford was developed and fixtured by a young guy that used to be the shop manager at Rod Factory... Steve Syzmanski, AKA ElPolacko here on the H.A.M.B. I would suggest you give him a call at 602 278 6800 as he does do that crossmember on a semi custom basis, and it's with any doubt the best out there.

Thank you for the info. That cross member required no trimming at all to fit on my Comet and the strut rods make it so simple to install no rear struts . I will call him for more info. Thanks again ,Jim.
