  16. Yeah mate, just uploading some pics to Photobucket now. Will get some up shortly, including one of the AAP crew. Scary bunch of mofos, that's for sure!

  17. A few of my pics. They might not all be HAMB-a-Rific, but they'll all be nice cars.

The rest can be seen here...

    A Zodiac.

With (amazingly) the original six cylinder in it!

    Definitely not an Orcabetty.

393 stroker Clevo, pump and 4x2-barrel Stromberg carbs. All connected because they're all leaking. ;)

AAP owner Alan Smart's (think he's rare32 on here?) newest toy.

    Big Al cruises in.

Pretty sure this is Western Australia's oldest hot rod. Registered around 1967 I believe.

    Aussie Charger.

With a pretty wild induction set up running on LPG (propane).

One of the first cars in Perth to convert Hilborn mechanical injection to EFI.

    Some Aussie ute goodness.

Von Kustard doing it in style for Movember, although I think he was just doing to piss off his wife.

    Late-60s Aussie GM style.

    Sweet jailbar.

    70s four-door muscle, Aussie style.

It's a Willys! Another VERY old Perth hot rod recently rebuilt by owner Eric Warren.

    Late 60s Mopar Aussie style.

Yeah, it's a street machine, but I like it.

    LOVED this.

Three generations of Aussie GM muscle.

This neat Mazda is owned by a photographer friend of mine.

Another VERY well used Perth hot rod, Alan Barton's roadster. This thing has got Puh-Tee-Nah in SPADES!!!

    Check it out!

  19. Every time I see this car, I have to take a photo of it. Such a great paintjob.

No, they didn't come from the factory like this.

Car looked perfectly clean to me.

    Great rods.
I got to be in Perth in 78 around Christmas in the Navy. Man what a great bunch of folks. This gal I met in a pub was stunning and liked MY accent. We got along great and met the next day. She let me drive, "on the wrong side of the road." Man I had a good time there. It was very classy and benign folks so dont read anything into it that wasnt there. I say go, if you can. the lingo will keep you in stitches for years. My fav," laughing at the lawn." Cheers friends.

thanks to Labrat and Brootal for putting up the pics, I was so busy on the day I didnt see half of those cars!

We had over 370 cars, 2 great bands (the Continentals and the Blazing Entrails) 1000's of folks on foot and one impromptu bikini car wash!
