just got back and unloaded after driving down to pick up my A frame and cowl from fritz on Long Island and stopping by to see hammy in Worcester. Visited a college buddy in Boston while I was out that way. No pics yet, but big thanks to fritz for the hot rod philosophizing and good luck to hammy on your move back to the northwest. dan
Hey, thanks for the good luck, I can always use it to offset my natural reserve of bad luck. Seriously, I hope to see those "A" parts turn into a sweet lil' rod, someday. And thanks for lightening the moving load, hope your bachelor pad benefits from our castoffs.
Your trip has mine beat, but last week I drove up for the Road Agents Rumble, and did it all in one day. I drove 4 hours each way to spend 3 hours at the show. I had other committments and had to be home, but it was worth the trip. Last year, I drove up to Boston to pick up my '32 frame. That was a 6 hour trip each way. I spent two hours with the seller and went home the same day. Sometimes it's fun to just go, do your thing, and get back the same day.
still in the parts collecting stage. I could change my mind any moment, but the frame's gonna go for the A pickup and the cowl will go for the modified. with the majority of my parts still in Ohio, though, it'll be a while before I get to wrenching. I'm actually making more progress on revising the modifieds site than the car itself. Money and time, man. Money and time. Thanks for asking, though. dan
