If you have at least one good original, contact Vodvarka Springs and talk to them. They can make anything you need from any kind of wire. You may have to buy a dozen or something, but for an otherwise NLA part, that’s not all bad. They were very reasonable on some things I had them make for me.

Gary I will bend you up some wire forms as they are not spring lol . I have a few of the lights and will get out of storage send me your info . I may have it as I sent you that rare antique expanding license plate frame for the roadster I think .. how many do you need ?

 

So I dug out a light and found out that the 1935 1936 headlight retaining spring is almost identical and works.

 

Let me check the usual sources to see if I can find some. John at So-Cal says he knows he has a box full of them somewhere in his stuff but with moving everything he hasn't had time to look. Thanks John

 

Found them at Drake and Macs. Half price at Macs. I'll order Monday
