Arrrg.. from Denver CO

Hi all. I am Casey and am in Denver. I have been lurking around here for awhile but figured I should start contributing when I can so here is my intro.

I have a 1953 Chevy 1/2 ton truck. I also just bought a 1954 Pontiac Star Chief. I am sure I will need some assistance with the Pontiac as it is a bit more complicated than the truck.

I am almost done with the majority of the truck. I just need to smooth out the body a bit then add paint. Here is a before and after on the truck:

The Pontiac needs some rust repair, engine tune-up and the transmission will not shift out of first. I could really use some help on the transmission issue as I know nothing about automatics! Its a hydromatic transmission. I want to make this my daily driver.
