Zombie---That's too cool!

I came up with a punch line and some elements for a piece but am far from finished. I hope my work schedule allows me the time to put it together...

Guys, let's refrain from posting anything other than finished pieces. I went back and deleted some on my first post to free things up a bit.

Also, let's keep quotes and comments down to quotes and comments. We keep loading these posts up with artists images multiple times when once is sufficient. Use the quote tool but drag over and delete the image portion. (unless it's Zombies.)

I agree with Jigger on all points but one, if you are working on something for the challenge feel free to post any progress you'd like.. even if you change direction, it's cool to see how people work.

And I honestly thought I had a good chance this challenge...LOL. Zombie, this is friggin bitchin!! I would LOVE to learn that technique. Any good places for info...resources? Maybe a tutorial?

You know, come to think of it, it would be pretty cool for us art geeks to share our techniques with one another. The world can never have too much art, and we're all unique enough not to step on each others toes professionally. What do you say guys??

 

I have to apologize first off because it might not get any farther than this before the challenge is done. My mom passed away about three weeks ago and I'm way behind in my comittments. This is a sketch I've had rattling aroud my head for almost a year. I might make a tin sign out of this. I put some quick color in it tonight. I'd like to maybe use Littleman's coupe.

 

Can an ol' CARtoons contributor squeeze in here somewhere? I got this dude goin' for me. He has no name but he's the character that evolved from a few sources: Newt, Mouse, Tales From The Crypt, Robt. Wms...just a bunch of influences. Here goes...

i miss CARtoons mag i use to have a subscrition from 88-91 when i was 11 years old. I use to take it to school with me and read them over and over again(Iwish i still had them ).I wish some one would make a best of CARtoon mag book that would be sick. sorry just had to post about

 

I stand corrected. I too like to see, yeh, even share "works-in-progress."
I would, further, like to encourage losts of that behavior.

I'm sure not an artist, but I so admired Pete Millars art and comp coupe that I decided to use the Fiat I'm building as a tribute to both the art and the car. Anyone who would like to use either as subject matter is more than welcome.

here's one more from me. i found a real cool 55 on the gasser thread. i did change the lettering on the side and added the blower. this one is for my other son cash. some great stuff on here so far. looking forward to some more. who is this norwell clown anyhow?
