For me it comes down to between Dutch Courage and Delswanson. I've been a fan of the work that both of these guys do for the Friday Show for some time now. IMO Dutch's beautifully done decal is outdone only by Del's humour.

I agree but I extend the compliment to a few other very worthy opponents, one of whom seems to be competing for the first time.
This one may not have been the biggest per participant but, for me, was one
    of the toughest to decide.

Yea,maybe, but he 'wrote' it well. GREAT ENTRY! No suprise it's doing so well
    in the poles.

I just realized something, this is one pole where race is not only
the main issue, it's the most important issue. That, and we're all voting
based strictly on emotions here as well.

To all the participants this was cool. I finally got a few votes which I am very thankful for, so for those who voted for me thanks it really makes me feel good knowing that otheras thought mine was worth voting for. Congrats to you talented MoFo's that won Del tat was pretty slick whatever you did to make that look so worn out. Nate those carbs are sweet and Forty you alreadty know how I feel about the Salt racer and well Dutch your stuff is always top notch in my book.

For the others nice work. Mr. Jigger the ****** trouble kicks ***. Lowcab your stuff is amazing as always Woodguy I have been following you website for years and it does not surprise me to see such quality from you. Satanherself I like different and you have it right there bt do you have any flatty parts....LOL..I could use some. SUHR the winfields are sweet and are very vintage looking to me which I think is cool. Fathack your a madman and it is good to see your stuff posted again. I hope to see more of it. Hotrod1940 those are great and so is the Flathead piece by 296V8. Cecce very nice and simple logo that is what makes them look good. Mark who could not like this piece anything with a Henry J g***er has to be sweet nice job.KCsledz I like these two a lot they scream Hotrod to me.Brootal, James D and Evil1 very cool photos it really takes an eye to capture a photo.

Now, can the next challenge be WOODIES ?

Let me get this straight...delswanson wins 1st place... $200.

Nate wins 2nd place but doesn't feel right about winning his own gig and donates his winnings to the guys that tied for 3rd place (don'tcha just LOVE Nate?)...so $50 each for Dutch Courage and fortypickup.

Dutch Courage wants to donate his winnings to Ryan/HAMB (Ryan, I need an addy)...are we done yet?:D

It's refreshing to see some pencil work a**** all the computer "art"....
    Really nice Nate!

  21. I'm always amazed looking at quick pencil sketches like that. So much is said with so few lines.

I have a future Art Challenge suggestion... how about 3D (actual 3D, not rendered)? Get some of the welders and carvers more involved?

  26. I'm much better with a pencil than the computer.. both take skills, but I could afford a pencil much earlier in life :D

5th place, I like it. Congrats to all those who won, I was beginning to wonder how many would participate there for a while. 3W and FlatblackIndustries thanks for your support of these art challenges. Also a big thank you to those who voted for me.

    I know it's early but...next challenge?
