Second prize: A gift pack from flyingpolock http://www.problemchildkustoms.com Third Prize: A cool shirt from flatblackindustries http://www.flatblackind.com/
Which one do I choose? So many dreams, so few realized... so I'll put them down on paper and go from there... Great idea Nate.
I think this one could go big.. I'm excited aobut it. If you can't narrow it down, do bunch of them! It's wide open fellas, dive right in!
VERY cool challenge! ...and with Mr. Norwell breaking out the big guns, well.... Awesome. This should be HUGE!! ...and thanks again, Nate... Got your envelope today!
cool! I think there are so many ways you could approach this challenge.. maybe you have some crazy concept that's been trying to get out for a while.. or maybe it's a car ou saw somewhere that you've lusted after.. or a famous car that you want to recreate, whatever it is, art it up and post it!
A little bump for all of the artists, aspiring artists, and lurking artists.... I already know what I'm doing for this one! (it's a re-work of a famous ride) As I said earlier, this one looks to be pretty big!
Also a reminder, we'll be looking for prizes, if anyone has something they'd like to put up for the winner let me know or post it here.
Great!!!! If Norwell is in...then I'm out! Just kidding. Great to have a Master Artist in the mix! This could get good!
Bumpety, bumpety, bumpety...isnt that the sound the old model "T" made? I've always wanted a "T"! For some reason this Model always caught my eye. Maybe because it was the beginning of a long line of automobiles that Old Henry Ford would produce. Maybe it was the simplistic style that it carried? Maybe it was because it is so easy to make them COOL! I found this one in a "blow out" in the Sandhills of Nebraska! Jigger you probably know what I am talking about! The frame was totally rusted to nothing and the body was starting to rust beyond repair! It took 2 men, a boy and a dog to dig it out of the sand! Once we got her off the truck and into the shop, I cleaned her up a little and here is what she looks like! Bare to the Bone! Floor was totally gone, rusted metal hanging off here and there. She made a great target for the ranchers! I finally put her on the Wagon and wheeled her into the Showroom for a better look! Dammmm...she's a beauty! This is my "Dream Car" and I am hoping it will be built by the end of the month!
Winner can pick from my thread HERE . Sizes are limited. Nate, I will watch this thread. The winner can contact me and I will get them hooked up. Thanks, Nate #2
Here's a drawing I created in AutoCad of my 1963 Fairlane (up for sale in the classifieds). I took an existing picture - altered the stance, changed the wheels, and added the writing to the side. Jantzi Motors ltd. was the dealership my Grandfather worked at as a parts manager, service manager, and finally as a car salesman. Thanks! Tom - Glass_Packs
I'm not good with drawing wheels and small details so I'm stopping before I screw it up further. unchopped A-400, stock trim, both bumpers, black body, dark red interior, not sure what rims though.
Got her back from the sandblaster last night, worked on the door today, and got it in primer. The more I look at the bullet holes the more I like them...If this was gonna be a Rat Rod I would leave them. Oh well, I'm gonna cut out the metal and hang it on the wall. The whole time that I was working on the door, I was thinking about Chopping the top...So after the door was done I stood with my chin in hand and thought about cutting the top up! I wrestled with Stock or Chop...Stock or Chop...couldnt take it no more so I cracked my first beer! I measured and taped it off just to see how it would look! Crack another beer! "Preparing to chop"
You guys are killin' me. Everybody waiting until the last day to post?(Well, with a few exceptions) Come on guys, I need my fix.
