Here's my shot at it, An A Coupe with a boss 429. Nothing real wild or out there but still a dream for me! Run outta time to put the pinup girl in holding a shotgun All done in coreldraw all vector except the background.

Congrats Gary C. Well. 'LIME" jealous. You punched out some good ones pal, way to go. I don't get the Flying P thing but what ever he won he earned as well. Good job B.Stoop! Lowcab you came to play and, if more folks would vote, I think you'd have given all a real run for the money. No doubt! Missed Jeff Norwell. (I hope alls O.K. buddy.) I thought he'd put this to rest early.
Well.... that was pretty cool! Winning the 9th Art Challenge, among the great artists here, is truly a humbling experience. FlyingPolock, FortyPickup, Jigger, LowCab, Janne, Nate and all of you are real inspirations. So many techniques and always so well done. So thanks to all who commented on my art and a big thanks to all who thought my Dream Bobber and Limester were worthy of your votes. Last, but certainly not least, a huge thanks to 3wLarry for the special prize... and an equally big thanks to Ryan for providing us all with this great forum. Today was DOUBLY cool here's why... My phone rings and the words I heard on the line were... "Hello, this is Gene Winfield." I began searching for an adult-size Depends! I actually called him earlier in the evening and left a message on his answering machine. To tell the truth, I really didn't expect him to actually call back. I'm researching one of his early cars and just couldn't find a color photo of the original "Thing" that he used to race on the lakes. Long story short... he told me it was purple and told me a bunch of others stuff about it. We talked about cars for a little while and he told me about some of the stuff he has done lately. In short, the man is a true gentleman, as so many others have said. Ever since I saw the Strip Star when I was 13 years old I have been a huge Winfield fan. Yep a pretty cool day!
Congrats, Gary!! Well done!! Great concepts, and fantastic artwork! It's always fascinating to see all of the entries, and check out so many different techniques and styles. We need to get these challenges stickie'd early on, I think... Jigger, I think Nate means that I came in second, claiming my own donation... That doesn't seem right, so, well, get with me, and we'll see about hooking you up! Everyone, tremendous work once again!!
Congrats Gary, Limester is just too cool!! Sooooooooo, when does Art Challenge #10 begin? I feel very inspired here, and could get a lot more done in a month....
