Le's get'er goin' boys and girls!!!!!!!!!! Update on an OLD drawing... originally done in '84... "Z-Bug'" A friend and his car (serca 1991)
...Also, I've been called to L.A. next week to work on Simpsons feature. In honor of this honor... (and it is an honor that will kick my butt for a few weeks and without the wife and kids,...not so fun. at least there won't be ice, tho my friend says they expect snow in Santa Clarita today,...maybe.) Here are a couple designs I did years back. The first was a proposed design for the HOMER it was not used, too radical I guess... The following were used in a show I assistant directed on, Homer's Muscle Car (If I remember correctly, the script called for a "hot rod" and that's what iI wanted to give them but, as the car belonged to Snake, a.k.a. Jailbird, the producers said to make it a muscle car, to them there's no difference anyway,I guess.) This next one is an actual lay-out sketch. I sent a copy to be animated and kept the origional...
OK here's one I finished up last night. A HAMBers (Skirv) Dad owns the Pontiac. Looks something like the Caddy I posted not that long ago. Thanks to the Friday show it keeps me going with the artwork. This was done as an 8"X10" Acrylic. BR
I saw this text on a t-shirt in Dice. It was printed with Arial-Black on the back of a guy riding a triumph or something... I liked the idea, so I decided to make a version of my own... 1-shot
This weekend at the World of Wheels in Milwaukee at the Pinstripe Legends display there will be a series of automotive art auctions conducted to raise funds for the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Last year the Pinstripe Legends raised $41,000 for the kids. This is a Chicago style sign kit designed and hand-built by noted Chicago sign designer Ken Millar. I bought the kit in the late ‘80’s but never “moved-into” it. I am honored to donate this kit to be auctioned off on Saturday night. Chicago-area pinstripers were invited to add some lines during the past year and each artist used the same 000 Mack that is included with the kit and each signed the kit in the same color he/she used to stripe. The artists represented span over 50 years. The artists who donated their talent: Tom Kelly (IL) Bob Behounek Joel Peters (Peter Pan of Chicago*) Pat Finley Tom Evans Bill Jarvis (Jive) Ken Sowinski (Stits) Kacy Banks (PinUp) (pinstripingbykc*) Tim Kasper Dave Jeffrey (Dave the Letterman) Ray Drea Dan Colyer Chris Berngen (Chris50*) Jim Ross Larry Hansen (oldbobsign*) Jim Brandolino (Brando) Greg Widaman Greg Widaman, Jr. Jeff Williams Larry Grobe (VooDooLarry) *denotes HAMBer If you're going to the show, be sure to stop by the Pinstripe Legends display at noon on Saturday for a HAMB Meet & Greet and check out all the art, there are some incredible pieces up for auction.

Blackie, love it! I've got versions of both cars and would love to take a shot in that pose. Saw it in R&C and though it was too cool. I've got a 54 more door Chevy and a 52 Crestless Crestline. Great show so far, keep it rolling it's Friday somewhere!
Nice to see it finally in paint, Paul Dennison of Heavy Metal Studio does some amazing tin work, looks like the old Labatt's beer trucks.
