this is the first thing i've realy drawn in FOREVER! it is heavily inspired by something i saw by Tidwell.

Here is something I've been working on this week. Flyingpolock, I really like the "A-Tona". Very cool.

  4. O.K. so, I didn't intend to post this 'til I as sure things were where I wanted them but seeing FlyingP's truck made me gotta do it now. Followed by a progression of works in progress and various sketches...

Yeh,...These guys wer great. I love the old Pontiac stuff. '68 was a really great year for Pontiac art. One of my favorites is the white GTO.

you can link to another site to display larger pictures.
I tried linking to a site called photobucket and you drop the "site name and the file you download to their site" and drop it in the URL slot in manage attachments. but it still said my files were too large.
i know there is a way to do it but i have been successful yet.
the instructions are in the HAMB questions forum

I figured it out. Post images to something like Photobucket. Grab the URL, click on the little insert image icon in the message composer:[IMG]; when it asks for the URL paste, and the image will appear. Just be sure to keep the image relatively small ~500 pixels at 72dpi. Hope this helps.

Man, I love your work!! The distortion in your stuff is killin' me!
Jigger.... man.... you never cease to amaze me (bizarre phone conversations notwithstanding!) Very cool on the SurfRider... and Surfer Joe has quite a collection in the back of that woodie....
    kustombuilder, that's a kick-ass drawing!
Thanks for enjoying the A-Tona, gentlemen... that was a fun idea... now somebody build that thing! (probably have to be somebody with a really short torso and reeeeeallly long legs, with that front ride height. I'm guessing they'd have the nickname "Spider". )

  12. Thanks to Mr. Norwell for those great vintage ads. It's true that a lot of the great ad artists were never properly credited.

I acquired this set of posters the other day that were commissioned by Standox paints.I can find no crediting of the work on these either.A little out of the vein of the board, but neat nonetheless. They look almost like pinstripe art.

  13. I'm usually just a lurker, but actually made it out to the buddy's studio this last weekend for a few hours. this one's a small, real quick oil "sketch" and this is a horrible, out-of-focus pic of it - which looks little like the actual painting... Nonetheless, I'm honored to be able to post with the likes of the rest of you.

Since I have a '63 GP I have saved quite a few old adds for them. Here are four I don't think have been shown here before.

Signature is VK AF, don't know who, Jeff, do you?

If only the computer with my artwork would start working I would have something to post.

Great stuff from all, as always.

I also want to thank all those who stopped by my booth at the Lonestar Roundup and said Hi. And to those who bought some of my paintings, a double Hi to you.
