Artillery wheels

TO ALL THE HAMBERS OUT THERE.WHAT'S YOUR OPINION ON RUNNING ARTILLERY WHEELS ON 40'S CHEVIES

 

I'm thining of doing artillery rims on a 48 Desoto? Have to photo shop to see if I like them.

 

i love artillery wheels, im going to run them on my 27 coupe, i know thats not what you asked but i think they look good on later model stuff too

 

Why not. You can get them just about anywhere now if you dont have any.

I like them. I am looking into using them on my 28 chevy with small double line beauty rings, and a police center cap with a small chevy logo...John

 

I like them, the 17" chevy was what got me into the artillery wheel collecting. Although the 17" chevy came in either a SMALL 5 lug pattern or a 6 lug. The 6 lug version would be easily converted to a lot of different 6 lug version applications out there. I would go for the 15" 6 lug chevy wheel. Those look great on 40's chevy/gmc trucks.
