    Hello,

During our 20 something days, there were times in our dinky apartment that just played into the mood at the time. We were sitting around listening to music and had several candles spread out over the small listening area, positioned in the center of two rather large 15 inch woofers, a mid range speaker and steel tweeter cones facing us. So, as the loud music played, our candles moved as the speakers accentuated the sound by moving. It made the little candles near the speakers, move its flame a little.

So, out came the 35mm film camera and we decided to try and emulate moving flames with a several shots in the dark. The above photo was me moving the film camera in a up circle motion to the right. The lens was open and the film took its time using what little light there was coming from the candle. During this time of moving the camera up, around and over, the results caught the flame highlighting its path.

We had no idea what the photo was going to be as we had to wait for a few days to have the Ektachrome color slides developed.

Actually, it was the camera path, as the candle was on a small glass table in its stationary position. So, a week later, the color slide showed the candle flame movement, although it was stationary. Ha!

So now, many years later, we all know of the powerful shows given by the Nitro Revival folks, YRMV

  17. Don I loved your photo! I took our family to D.C. to see the McGee roadster. It was like, { Honey I shrunk the kids. } Because it looked like a 1/25 model car in that cool case. lol:) Resized_20170421_102203.jpeg

..Probably my all time favorite Roadster. I didn't get down to the mall, but caught up with it at the Detroit Autorama. thumbnail (35).jpg thumbnail (27).jpg

..Looks like you and The Family are having a great time in the picture. Wish I had gotten down to the mall 'cause like you mentioned, it must have looked like a model car.

  23. I think this car has a perfect top. I saw this car at one of the So Cal open houses' when it was being restored. It was naked, and looked great naked!
