Shot with a Leica M7 using a 90mm Elmar made in 1959. Portra 400 film, scanned, color profile flattened, and then hit with my custom Kodachrome color profile. I think the result is pretty convincing.

I’ve been saving my favorite shots like the ones shared here and rotating them through a digital frame in my garage. I use https://www.nixplay.com/ so I can send new pics straight from my phone, and it keeps things fresh without printing a bunch of photos. Especially cool when friends visit and catch their rides pop up on the screen. Makes the whole space feel more alive.

Here's a weird one... Back in 2015, Tardel and I went to pick up this old Ford in North Texas. On the way home, we ran across a weird old flying saucer turned cafe turned abandoned roadside attraction. Naturally, I shot the car... and when I was finished, I remembered I had a roll of Eastman Fluorographic X-Ray film that was sold to the Army in 1940 and expired in 1946. So, I chucked that in the camera and shot the whole roll at all sorts of different long exposures. Out of the 24 frames, only one was really useable... and even that one was a stretch.

This film was used to take pictures of an image casted by an X-Ray machine. Tuberculosis screening mostly....
