I would like to find a font that looks like neon including the color. Downloaded a couple today but they lack that "neon" look. Any ideas?
I would like the font to look like neon sign lettering. Hate to have this posted here but thought with the artists on board, I could get lucky!
You can try these sites: http://www.fontmagic.com/alpha/I5.html http://www.masterstech-home.com/The_Library/Font_Samples/FontIndexMain.html

[/ QUOTE ] Depends on what you want to do with it.If you're looking to paint neon style letters,it's kind of hard(but not impossible)to do without using an airbrush. It also works best over a dark or(preferably)black background. The good part is the tubes are usually not perfectly symmetrical so a little variation won't appreciably hurt the image.Stick with pink or blue for a base color(the brighter the better),tint the edges lighter on one side and darker on the other, use a striper to put in a white "hot spot" down the center of the tubes and then blend it in using the brush you did the tubes with using a bit of thinner in the brush but no paint.Go back over the center with a VERY thin white stripe and it should look pretty presentable. I know this isn't a complete description of how to do it,but the best I could do for now.Sounds like maybe another TECH post........... Ray
