The first '57 Chevy I ever saw was an Army staff car. I was about 9 years old. My dad was in the Army and stationed at a small base in Eritrea. We were lucky enough to be able to be there with him. One night I got really sick. I got to ride to the base hospital in that new staff car. I think that car may have been a part of my cure. Those fins seemed to be the coolest thing ever.
