    Cool shots...........two questions.

What is in the back of this Stude truck?

And does anyone have any shots of this speedster in the background of this shot:

Great pics. Of all of them, I think the Crosley gets to me most. I am attracted to it and yet still somewhat sickened by it. A work of art.

Mike, I like that shot too! The building doesn't bother me…

There are allot of cool shots by all of you! It was a very well documented show. Well trained, bloodshot eye's, in good sweaty hands…

I was glad I could finally make the show… thank you! to all the folks who busted their knuckels putting it on!

Some type of either metal, plastic, wood or glass bending form. They were labeled with specific numbers so my guess is a bending form.

  7. What's the story on it? Looks like a rail with a body mounted on it, and that it may be streetable(?).

    Thanks,

  10. I had the pleasure of parking every single car that drove in. Sucks standing around in the sun for 4 hours, but being able to see every car makes it worth it. Plus just helping put on such a great event is worth it too.

Great job Jay and The Vultures.

The surfer radiator cap was won by the owner in a surf competition when he was 8 years old in Santa Cruz. Upon winning the competition, I guess his older brother got jealous and smashed the trophy. All that's left is the surfer on top. He put it to good use.

We told him he had his board on backwards, but he disagreed. :)

  14. The Vern Tardell crew from Santa Rosa. If I was Vern (in the first pic, #311), and I was driving that 32 roadster I'd have a big grin on my face too!!

The yellow 5-Window is SamIAm's Father's car. Now Sam owns it. The purple/pink roadster is Tim's (who's a HAMBer). Also used to be his Father's car. 4-Banger with Columbia 2-speed rear end. I believe that it was the maiden voyage for the truck with the green bed, with the suicide front end. The instant it pulled into the parking lot, it spewed trans fluid all over. :)

More of Tardell's roadster, a sweet 27 T, and of Travis' amazing RPU. It is Travis' roadster, right? Amazing metal work throughout.

Tim and Sam's cars again. The 38 Dodge belongs to Randy Perez, who also owns a beautiful baby-blue Packard posted earlier in this thread. The Wedgewood was one of the show's highlights. It won for Best Mill.

That's all for now, more after dinner.

  23. I missed it Nick, but the fact that it was there was just too damm cool.....

Good to catch up with you yesterday Bro, its been too long.

  24. That Crosley was cool... but the COOLEST thing about it is the front motor mount... as soon as guys catch onto that one... you're gonna see the prices go up on e-bay!

    HA! no kidding......

She is real quick too....we still need to put a chute on it, and I think an Algon or Hilborn setup is next....as soon as we can find a reasonable one.

    :D

  26. I did, it was mean sounding. Straight 6 Flathead too.

  27. OK, on with the show. Dave posted some cars I have also, but I'll just go ahead and finish off my set of pics.

You can never beat a row of open wheeled hot rods. Then a few pics of Jimmy White's work.

    Great shots ya'll, thanks!

Is this Big Jeff's old ride? Sure looks alot like it?

  30. V-8 60 Flathead powered roadster won best of show. Built by a girl and her Dad. The yellow A Tudor belongs to my good pal Jeremy from the central coast of CA (no, its not Big Jeff's old ride). He stayed with me for the weekend. The neighbors did NOT like us when he fired up the engine with the open headers at 7am...
