My dad worked in a plant where stealing was quite the art form. Every employee had a 30’ set of jumper cables made from cables stolen off the welders. Welders got paid by the amount of rod they used so they’d use up rod anyway they could. Everyone took home a lunch box and a thermos full of rod every night. imagine what those lunch boxes must have weighed. Tools like grinders and drills would grow legs and walk out regularly, so managers started painting brand new tools flat black, they stayed around a lot longer when they weren’t shiny. One day maintenance went up on the roof to fix the hvac and found 20 guys having a bbq. Stealing isn’t just confined to factories. I worked in an office once where every September the supply closet would be cleaned out of office supplies for back to school season. These people made Big incomes but they still needed to steal boxes of pens and teach their kids to steal from the company. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
