at least i can roll it outside now

lots to do still, but can finally roll it around instead of it sittin on jackstands in one spot in the garage. got about 1/2 inch from distributor to firewall, 1 3/4 inches water pump to radiator. car is not leaning, my driveway is a very steep angle. the center bolt valve cover 305 is for mockup, it was going to be used, but i made a trade with my neighbor for a 61 283 he has, got 416 casting 305 heads for it, and a duntov 097, the trans is a 3 speed manual out of a 81 el camino v6 car, the rear end is a 10 bolt g body unit with 3.42 gears

Real nice! Gettin um off the jack stands and out in the sunlight for the first time gives you inspiration to keep going.

 

Looking great! Hope you like the 283....mine is from a 65 Impala and even though it's on the tired side, I love it It's just different enough from all the others using 350/350 combos ;/
