Technical At my wits end with 8ba flathead

Yeah I replaced the condenser 3 times before I found a working one

 

You probably ok where you are with electronic ignition .... the direction I'm heading.
Same time you can hit up @tubman & they will sell you a quality condenser .... not cheap but well made.
I have one & plan to use it on my 8BA .... Could use it on my Dodge but it is going electronic.

alright good to know, thanks. The ones I had were from NAPA also, as well as the old coil that was on it. I'm just surprised they're still making the parts anyway.
