Yeah I'll probably ease by there for a while. I'll be in my Black/White '55 Crown Vic. Is your Caddy Burgundy and real low? I saw one at the Summit Cruise in on Monday. - Mike

I'm gonna try and make the next swap meet. Met some of the HAMB'ers there one time. I forget their names (or board names) PBR was one of them I think. In any event it was cold as a well diggers ass the day I come... so none of us stayed long or did much chit chatting.

Look forward to giving it another go. Maybe someone can bring a grill and we can grill out?? Bring your own meat... LOL
Let me know when one of these "Fuzzy" meets is.

Im not from the ATL or do i live in the ATL, I like Atlanta alot, my wife lived there for a long time, we have been thinking about moving there so we can actually buy a house one day. I do searches for 'atlanta' often to see what is goin on. . . . . . . . . . maybe one day, we'll see.

How big is the car culture ? is there alot of shows, swapmeets ?

The car scene here is much not great considering the size ofthe town, people to seam to stink to there groups which in some ways is good and bad. that being said I have made a bunch of great freinds since I moved back and have learned alot from all the guy's I met.

    Taking a random poll here:
    Dvanecek had:
    A) three beers before writing that
    B) six beers before writing that
    C) a 12 pack before writing that
    D) he drank 'til he passed out last night, woke up and had a shot or two of something from a dark-colored bottle as a little eye-opener before writing that.

  8. Definitely post "Last call" keyboard work.

So, when's the next get together?
I plan on being at the swap but was hoping to get together on an off swap weekend.
I'm willing to make the shop available the weekend after the swap.
Saturdays are pretty slow around here so the lift and tools are available.

It doesn't really matter that much when i think about it, right now im in So Cal and its great, i'm in a club and we actually help each other out when we can, i'd rather be working on my car with 3 friends than at a car show looking at cars or at a swapmeet

  12. Hey, AUGUSTA is home for me with the old Henry-J (picture on left)on the jack stands now waiting for a locker, ring gear, and an afternoon without having to be a coach, boss, home remodeler, grass cutter and whatever else mom can come up with. Can't wait to get it out and send some smoke signals out to ATL. I also have a 56 Chevy that dad left to my son that has two years to be road worthy (with my son's help) so he can drive it when he turns 16. I think it would be fun if someone could organize a gathering somtime in or around ATL for a small cruiz, or maybe meet at an existing event!! I may be able to organize somthing down here later if I could get a big enough showing to warrent the efort. I am an elevator man for Otis and I go on call every third week but can swap around weeks with enough notice. My wife has family in ATL and Commerce and I am there all the time. Any info on a show or a meet would be apreciated.

Burnt Hickory Rd, close to Greystone Power.

Isn't your shop across from the old Log Cabin? Been meaning to stop in to check it out.

Holy shit I can't type. actually I had been sober for like 3 days when I typed that. I think that was the problem. I was also sober when I took the sledge hammer to the chevy. but I got drunk and fixed that. I guess I need to drink more huh.

People still go to the Highlander? I thought all the cool folks only hung out in East Atlanta now... LOL Last time I was there I had to chase some frat boys doing coke out of the bathroom so I could take a piss.

Anyone going up to the Cumberland Run next weekend?

Do they still have Murphy's on tap? Nothing like waiting 20 minutes for a pitcher of beer. Used to love the look on Bucket's face when we ordered a pitcher.
