the death barrow is just one of our cars. the other one is a top fuel rail look kind-a-like.its getting close to put-up-our-shut-up time.

Still looks like rain. The race is rain or shine. I would actually go for no rain and a jar o' shine. But with as fragile as our team is we should probably just stay home. driving a 120 mph derby on a wet hill is a good way to get hurt.

It's almost 5:30. Surely someone got spanked by now.

SFCC came in third overall and got best engineering. Everyone without kids is out celebrating. I can only assume from that report the odd rods were spanked. But I heard they liked it.

 

Yeah we spanked them. We also spanked the GA tech engineers that won last year. Like Tudor said we placed third overall and one best use of materials.

It was a fun time fo sho! Competition was stiff. SFCC Sock Rocket was beaten by Evil Knievel himself! Tough man to beat.

Looks kinda like Bonneville 'cept there's no salt. Kinda like Pike's Peak 'cept you're going the wrong way. Anyway, looks like fun. Why don't you rig some rubberbands on it and run it on the salt next summer?

When's the next event?

 

I'm not 100% sure but I think the GA Tech guys won 2nd place. They had a Hummer H3 box that was a 24" cube. I don't know how the kid got in it. Very fast little box.
