I hate auctions. But after being frozen in the past three months, I needed to see cars. The main one I was interested in seeing was this sports custom which was hyped as being stored the past 40 years. I only caught it driving past, so the shot is blurry. I remember seeing this car at New Hope Auto Show in the 1970s which may be a long time ago, but not 40 years.

Check the engine set-back. More later, Star Blvd. is in gridlock.

Cords are cool. Why did they ruin that one?

'57 Ranchero. Looks like a Cord hood on that first picture. The rear looked like a late 40s Cadillac. Don't know the history, but ***ume that car was pieced together in the early 50s when Cords weren't worth much.

'41 Ford. Rat, looks like you had pop up people getting in your pictures too. That '57 Chevy 4 door turned chopped two door was auto-abuse big time.

Thanks for the pics guys. Did that Chopped 57 Chevy used to be white with purple flames all over it? It looks similar to one I've seen every year at Lead East.

Seeing photos of that old sports custom was nice!
I had no idea that it still existed. It was published in Trend Books 101, the car is based on a Packard 122" ch***is.
