You might try to get in your senior citizen middle of the day nap.

    Hopefully none too revealing

  10. Put a new distributor cap and rotor and the 235 fired right up. So I'll be there in the '53! Can't wait. Charging battery on camera now.

Today is the day. Let us come together in celebration of the traditional hot rod and custom.

Oh joyful hot rod souls, won`t you come out to the house of Atlas Speed and Custom and let`s spread the gospel of traditional built rides and partake in the fellowship. :D

Took the shoebox down there today and had a great time, good food and saw a few buddys I hadn't seen in a while. Looks like some nice projects going on and some fine rides showed up for the festivities. Met Sprocket the striper and got an appointment for next week. So It was a good day!!!
Thanks to the Atlas crew for the hospitality. BUCKD

Thanks to the good folks at Atlas for having us out.

We can't thank everybody enough for making our grand opening a great success. The turnout was way better than our expectations. The quality of people who came out was a big plus. Laid back car guys old and young with no posturing just fun and car love all around. The reliability was a blast. We headed up into Oklahoma and back down across the Lake Texoma dam. Lots of great looking roads and scenery.
The night topped off with Pushrod at Smittys and was the opposite of laid back and we had a high energy crazy night.

Again thanks to everyone who made the event possible and yes it will be a yearly event to all you guys who were requesting it.

    Pics will follow......

I just got home 345 miles round trip , was a freaking blast . Had a bit of a headache this morning ! Will be back next year !

  25. Here is a link to my photos from yesterday. I think there is a little over 100. When I posted pics from Roundup I got grief about repeats....well if I see a car I like then I shoot it at different angles etc. But I share most of them not just my favorites! Also, there will be a good many of a red '53...well that's my truck and I primarily shoot these pics for myself so get over it!!!

I had a blast and it was great to see so many cars and car folks in North Texas!! See ya'll at one of Russ' HAMBurger runs soon!!

Thanks again to the ATLAS guys for opening up their place to hang out. I look foward to more visits to ATLAS and I wish them the best!
