$80 for an outside space? I may go, but I won't enter.

How does this compare to shows in other states?

More than twice as expensive as the ba*****t in Detroit. Way to expensive for me to consider it. Someone is more worried about making money than doing a good show. $10 each for spectators, $80 outside for a car, $125 inside. No thanks. Not trying to be negative but I've been trying to do a car show in Moore Square for about 5 years and this is one of the reasons that I've been unsuccessful. Everyone has their hand out..

I know they are closing the streets and planning a lot of "big time" event suff. Not sure how much is profit and how much is paying to get the area closed off, police coverage etc.
The outside car area is open to the public, I guess the $10 bucks is just to get into the building. It has got to be better than the state fairs show, that is what $8.00 now.

I could tell you exactly what those costs are. I'm also thinking you are gonna see alot of the same stuff that you see at the fairgrounds or grill 57 there. Or maybe not with the prices. Hell they doubled the vendor spaces at the fairgrounds and lost a lot of the vendors there. Not trying to be pessimistic about it, I hope they do well. But I'm not gonna pay those prices.

I'll be going because as we all know,

A day at a car show is better then being at work !

I will pay the ten dollars to get inside ,

But I really don't have anything as nice as some of the other folks above in this thread to worry about paying 80 dollars outside or 125 inside dollars.

I am glad that SOMEONE is trying to get something going as far as car events in this area,

We are a big enough city to support a show of this size and I believe that it could be
something that maybe the whole family could enjoy and partake in ..

You never know what maybe the bug that bites someone and gets them interested in this hobby for a life time...

I wish them luck and with the growth maybe they will add something cheaper down the road like the ba*****t deal......Who knows !
