Now pursuing a '48 Buick, Sedanette I once owned just before findig my '34 (3) window came and Blessed me with its magnificence. Light yellow in color, sitting on Chev Caprice full chassis, wire wheels, wonderful new stock interior and visor. Pics to follow if I can find them. I bought it out of the auction at the corvette and high performance meet of Feb. 93 or 94 show at fair grounds, it came up from San Fran I was told. It had a bad steering box in it that I never got to also. Oh yeah it was lowered too. I did not want to let it go, but with the project 34 in the back of the shop, and the Rivi in the front, the Buick was living in our liquid sunshine outside taking a beating and I could NOT stand that so you know why why I sold it. Finders fee if located for me. I Sold to a rod guy in Tenino, saw it once in the Seattle Greenwood, ( some one had put gwadawufll skirts on it , I absolutely HATE skirts!!!!) show and again in the now defunct Seattle roaster show. I'd pay top $$$$$$$$ to have it back again. ( The 34Larry guy, now answering to Oh lonesome me with a large empty space (48 4feet) between my garage door and back shop wall .
As promised guys. I did not take these shots. They came up on Craigs list long afer I sold it. Whoever had it at that point cleaned it up very nicely getting rid of the bumper guards (I won't go into the skirts). I have one hit from Steve in Tenino. New computer hid my files on me. I bought it once, dyeing to do it again if when it is found, bought, improved and under MY accelerator foot !!! so far
Not my "go-to" color palate but I like that a lot Larry. I can't say I have laid eyes on it down this way.
Thanks BB. Back in '67 my only brother bought n new '67 Camaro close to that color. Called "Butternut Yellow", RS/SS ,B/ Stock Stick, ran Low 14's...........high 13's. When I had the Buick it had True spoke wires all-around as should all great Buicks and will again it when lives in my garage/shop '
