Lee is a great guy and the directions that he sends with the paint are very VERY helpful, but you must do what he says and pratice pratice pratice...and have something more in your stomach than just a sprite when attempting to stripe LOL ;)

    Hey Vance,

We all know **** happens, although many of us wind up stepping in it as well! We understand, and also realize that free is free, and since you're footing the bill, we also realize that when it gets here is when it gets here.

We still appreciate the offer, and can't wait to get it. I'll p*** on the info to my girl and we'll be a'waitin!

    Thanks!

Thanks KustomAce! In my humble opinion, part of practicing is meeting other stripers, talking to them and hopefully getting to watch them. If you get that far, there's a good chance they'll want to work WITH you on a panel. They will if they're half the person they think they are!

I have never talked to someone who wants to learn to stripe without doing some lines for them to show them the basics and at least offering to work with them. This is a dying art and all those involved need to do whatever they can to keep it going.

Just a question... BOOKS can't teach her "skill", BUT my daughter wants to learn this SO bad you have NO idea!!! I have gotten her some books, brushes, and some "non" lead paint, and she is trying her best, but what else can she do??? yes I know practice practice practice, but without some real "guidelines" she doesn't know when she is doing something wrong or not (by the way she is 11 Y/O) I do NOT have this skill at all!! So I am unable to steer her "this way or that way" Did you guys learn by the "school of hard knocks"??? ANYTHING that you could "toss me" so that I could p*** it on to her would be greatly appreciated!!! THIS IS NOT, a handout request! I am just trying to steer my lil' girl in a direction that she wants and has the heart for!!! The fact that it is car related is a HUGE bonus to ME!!!!! Thanks guys...Ken

Let me ask around to see if there is another striper in the Spokane area the you can take her to. She needs to talk to and see it first hand. I've learned that kids that young can learn, but the person teaching has to be uber patient and the young'un needs to SEE it done to fully understand it.

Hey UnkIan or Safariknut, you guys know of anyone out that way?
