You should be good. Just try to get 10 or 12 of those cookies all the way to Austin!

Sometimes I forget how much fun it is to live in Austin.

My shifter is now fixed and Rockin Tomato must be eaten. The margarita pizza is the best I've ever had.

I'll be there for sure and I'm bringing some art to auction off. (Plus a surprise for the Speed Shop). Anything you need, just call.

Hey Gang. Well it looks like our wonderful friends have been beyond generous in the BBQ department. I just PM'd Dreddybear and they are bringing 8 or 9 Briskets!!!!
Ray with has his car loaded up too. Meat Coma-yeah!!!

Sooooo we are probably good on meat etc. If you already bought something to grill I am sure we can get it cooked for ya. If you are a hot dog fan you might bring some.

Here is the new list of things we might need
    Hamburger Buns
    Veggies for burgers(lettuce,onions etc)
Anything that goes with Brisket - rolls, bread, sliced onions, pickles
    condiments
    utensils, plates
    Chips

Pretty much the same list with less meat more buns. We might have extra but at least we can all us an extra bottle of ketchup at home!

    okay. that's like...13 briskets.
    50 pounds of ground round.
    a ton of ribses.
    a buncha ka-bobs.

this would be enough beef to feed....

    Bring Money!!!

There is some good stuff showing up for the silent auction. Yesterday, I went by ASS and dropped off:

    a pair of 15x7? no-name slot wheels
a Hurst shifter with the handle with linkage
    a '55 Chevy grill

There was already a stack of stuff that people had sent in, and a lot more will be coming on Friday. There should be some real good deals.

    haha

If we don't raise much money for Dave, at least he can freeze the leftovers and not have to spend money on food for a while!

Nothing like leaving your 113* shop to go stand in front of 3-4 grills for several hours. You might want to start hydrating.:)

I am going to say that Yes, there will be a need for at least 2 of 'em.

I am going to load up a couple of cutting boards and see what I can find for platters as well.

This is going to rule. all I will need is a supersoaker full of whiskey and we should be set!

I'll dig around the garage and see if I have any spare parts lying around that I can bring to auction. I don't have much cash, but I do have a lot of stuff I'll never use.

My Grandpa is stable for now, and seems to be a little better. Made it back into town last night. Lux, my grill is anxiously awaiting a fire at the shop. Im bringing a pretty decent 49-50 shoebox steering wheel for the auction. So, glad this is coming together so nicely.....Mark

Thanks for the report on Dave. We haven't had any up grade on him in a few. Glad he is back on his feet and I know he is . We have the trailer loaded and the coupe filled up and ready to head out tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing every one again.

Cookies are cookin' now! It's gonna be hard to not gobble them down as they come out of the oven. I just sent the GF out for some additional dough since it sounds like there are a ton of people coming. Everyone likes cookies. lol

Anyway, I might be able to get a few more things from the list. I may check back before I head out tomorrow and see what might still be needed.
