There is a guy on Dequinder around the corner from the Ramchargers at 12&Dequinder. If you call the ramchargers, they always reccomend this dude. He did my buddies nova, with mandrel bends and aluminized tubing and crossover pipe, so he is pretty decent. I think he quoted me like $200 to do a dual system if I had the mufflers.

I forget the name, but RamChargers will know...

I called, does AL from Modern Exhaust ring a bell? Some dude named Adam at Ramchargers recommended him. I'll check it out, I need to order my mufflers first though..

  7. IDK if the west side is too far, but there is a dude in Plymouth who did my dad's 300 and MercMan1951's T-bird. He seems cool and is relatively cheep. Dads was 250 manifolds back with Flow's, but that was 3 or 4 years ago.

I can tell ya where if you're interested.

If you are up for a ride, there is a guy, right around the corner from me, that is awesome. I have taken all of my custom exhaust work to him, and have never been let down. The place is called Muffler Man, located in Burton. Probably too far of a hike for ya, but I thought I would post this anyway. -Joe

  11. Go check out Mufler Man at 9 and Gratiot. Ask for Bob and tell him I sent you. I think they get about $250 for Duels complete.

Jay, I got a WAY better guy out here in Royal Oak.

He had a guy on the Black Cougar for 8 hours. You need to take a close look at the work sometime underneath that car....it beats the shit outta the joint in Plymouth. With all the hassle I had to go thru with that guy in Plymouth (remember when I had to take it back after he "finished" it; but it was bottoming out on the suspension and he had to cut it off and re-do it?)

I have a guy here that blows him away. He was cool too, (the owner of the shop) told me to bring my other shit by on the weekends so he didn't have to worry about cutting off cats, etc...or doing duals on something that should have cats but didn't...

Denise, keep me in mind. I'll tell you who... [IMG]

Midnight...I haven't been in that Ramchargers yet, but they are less than a mile from my house and I have been living here 3 years. Are they good people? The Livonia Ramchargers was full of 5.0 wanna-be's. I hated them.

  16. Works for me. To bad Mark isn't around anymore. Zak's truck is still holding up! [IMG]

I'll have to find out who, cause the Biscuit is gonna need duals... after I find a split manifold! [IMG]

    MercMan,
I haven't been in that Ramchargers in over twenty years. My first job was there 27 or so years ago. I learned a lot there from Lee, he used to drive the Ramchargers FunnyCar.

I live about 2 miles from the Livonia Ramchargers and your right, they do blow. Most of the problem seems to be not enough counter help, not to mention they are only open 10am till 6pm, the hours that MOST of their customers work as well. I usually use the independant auto parts store at the corner. Been there over 30 years, same old guys still working there. Will get me just about anything I need or want. Anyway, I'll probley be seeing your exhaust bud in the not too distant future.

The guys at 12 and John R are pretty nice guys, however they are also five-oh and chevelle wannabe's. Hey Merc- what's the joint in Royal Oak that you are talking about? That is where I live too...

    TinyE,
It's worth the trip to Marlette (upper Van Dyke) just to see Russ Kraft's place. He has old cars stickin out his ears.
Man were gettin a lot of HAMBers from Michigan. I didn't think there were that many gay bitches around here [IMG] x77, did you post an intro?

  22. I think it's S&K if I remember right. Kev and I talked about it last night, and they are also the ones who did the exhaust on my 300. Good job, just stock replacement duals. [IMG] It was done before I got it, so I left it. Anyways, their on Main and roughly 12 Mile...
