Technical Attn. Instrument guys. What the Hell did I find ( what's it from) ???

I'm saving up parts for a prewar "special" dirt track type of open wheeled racer and when I found this at an old surplus joint I had to have it! Any ideas???

Looks like a combined ignition/light switch.

 

Yes but from what I wonder, I've not seen anything quite like it.......

John o .Heinz electric circa 1916 is what I found so far , basically a universal switch .

 

That's neat!

 

Appears to be the switch for an aftermarket lighting/ignition system designed for the model T:
