A few of the Hamber's from the great Sunflower State have been kicking around the idea of having a KS Hamb BBQ, Garage Crawl, maybe a poker run?, etc. etc...... I know of 6 or 7 Hamber's that are pretty close to the Topeka/Lawrence area. Even more in the KC metro. Lets have some kind of little get together. This would be a great way to put some faces to names, all the Hamber's I've met are from out of state. Need suggestions for dates, times, places. If you have some cool stuff you'd like to show off to the fellas, let me know. I guess I'm volunteering to coordinate this deal(****, Kelly is going to kill me , especially after this Memorial day blow out I'm putting on). I will be pretty much free during the next two months. I would try and make it, but how about an art show to go with it? someone could talk Mr McPhail into coming, I'm sure Whiskey would go if she could find the time. I think it would get a pretty good turn out. How about close to Hamb Drag time, if it's at MoKan again, it would be an excuse to party for an extra day. just a thought. rjb
Let's pick a date! Saturday or Sunday? what time of day? Late afternoon say 5 pm ish on a Saturday? To stay outta the heat? I am offering my place as an alternate as well. What about the Saturday after father's day? To close to the 4th?
