  4. I just know the Hot Rod Shop was a local speed shop from before my time. I remember going to school with a guy whose dad either owned it or worked there.

Which yard did you find that in? Al Schills? Hwy 45? or Durham's?

The Hot Rod shop was locted at the address you have. It was the most famous shop here in milwaukee. About 4 years ago John Stimac of Stimac Bros Recycling bought the name and has since reopened it in Cudahy. Not too much history but everyone and there grandma has one of those stickers.
    Thats what I know

brief history. dates may not be super accurate but, close enough. HRSM started out on W. Fond du lac Ave., late 40's. Moved to No. 22nd St. and W. Walnut St., early 50's. In the 60's or 70's, moved to around So. 40th and W. Greenfield Ave. After that to So. 112th and W. Forest Home Ave.
This old timer would tell more but the longer I stay logged onto the HAMB, all of sudden it says I am logged off and can't reply to a thread. Gotta type fast---------bye.
