Finally got the info and parts from Randy Gross to adjust the F-100 steering on the CCPU. Seems the unit I bought 15 years ago from Mel had a different adjustment system. Kudos to Randy.

IMG_20220803_080218731.jpg been trying to drive them and on the last leg of about a 250 mile run, hit a railroad crossing. I was running about 35 mph. Up in the air and landed on two wheels...busted the right rear dog bone for the shock and put the fan into the radiator. I'm rethinking railroad crossing approaches
    Happy motoring

Yes, me too...he was on the board on Monday morning but "June sucked" was his last post.
I know sometimes life gets in the way...his month off this month and then we will review the situation
@Binger hasn't been around but I talked to him and he got a new position at work that is keeping him hopping along with starting a Model RR layout

Anyone out there have a Fronty water manifold they can pull some dimensions from...? I am looking at making something similar for my Akron-Hed conversion. I won’t be using the Fronty side drive, but instead will be routing water from the stock water pipe in an attempt to cool the hot spots I experience with the current Sherman flat head.
I would like to make the water manifold reasonably correct, and so am asking for tube diameters, flange dimensions, and outlet angle...

    Thanks in advance!

Got my Burtz engine together and about 500 miles on it
Deburr everything and until you do all the edges are real sharp. Do that first unless you like to bleed
Look everything over real critically, I found flashing and burrs that needed removed, everywhere
Measure and verify everything dimensionally, mine was OK but I've heard stories of ones that were not
My casting exterior was nasty rough and lots of blemishes so I ground/sanded it smooth
You can't clean it enough and clean it one more time wash, brush and blow all passages. I ran a drill driven 3/8 cable with the end frayed all thru the water passages...the amount of casting sand was remarkable
I used Locktite 620 on the oil passage plugs which are not tapered and require sealant so they do not leak
Locktite 5699 on the main cap bolts and main cap to block mating surfaces, nothing else for sealant but these two products...as the recommended products failed..
These two products are all I've used in the past with great results
DO NOT remove the tension spring for the rear main as suggested in the build guide
Spend a little more and buy the Detroit Diesel application seal...it is silicone and usually can be found on ebay for less money, that's where I found bearing shells too..
Buy extra shells as I had problems with the tab slots on a few
Read the assembly instructions multiple times but rely on your past engine assembly experience as well
I am reasonably happy with mine at this point but time will tell
I know @Crazydaddyo built his but don't know if he had similar experiences...
    Good luck

My plan is continually evolving... but right now it’s looking like a small run of about 5 water manifolds for myself and a couple others who have expressed interest. These will be 3D printed sand molds, and so will have very little economy of scale. If you are interested, please send me an email and I will add your name to the list. I will have the ability to make more in the future, but have no intentions of maintaining inventory
