  8. And for the gasser folks, we had these here in Australia as well. Seems there were a few body builders - Hope etc. some good looking, some not so. I personally love them...for some reason.

    This is body number 67 of supposedly 95 built in 1946. Apparently there is only 5 or 6 still existing. It uses Canadian front panels but is Australian built from the firewall back. Note the different shape on the top of the doors. The ute side panels are a one piece pressing shared with the more common Ford utes.

  13. @midroad that's one cool ute, I think the mercury front suits the ute alot better than it does the sedan, coupe etc. looks more at home to my eye for some reason.

  22. Australian built 37 Chev. The main differences in the body are split rear window and no "swage" line from the front fender into the front door. PC050246.jpg
