Better do the right thing and intro myself I'm a born and bred hot rodder from Bunbury, Western Australia. My Dad has been a hot rodder since well before I was born and instilled a love of 'real cars' in me. My first ride was a 1929 Model A Roadster Dad and I built together with a small block Chevy. I took the car off the road 8 years ago and started to rebuild it but had to stop when I fell pregnant and wasn't allowed to use angle grinders on it. Unfortunately I haven't had time to get back into the shed to finish her as my hubby got foot in there and pushed the roadster out for his projects. Met my hubby when he was building a '23 T Bucket. We had to sell it to buy a more appropriate 'family' car and purchased a '56 Chevy 4 door 210 sedan. The Chevy became sort after by local brides wanting to use it as a wedding car so she was registered for hire use and started our limo company. Shortly after we purchased a '57 Chevy that had been stretched and we are now building another '57 Chevy that is being mega-stretched. Have 2 young boys that are hot rod and cl***ic car freaks. The oldest bought a '55 Chevy sedan shell with his pocket money when he was 5. It will be his project car with his Dad (if he can get it out of his Grandad's shed and into ours!) So that's me. I'm here mainly to read all your great stories and get some cool ideas for the new stretch.
