Going to be in Melbourne for a week starting the w/end of the picnic. Only have 1 day at this stage to check it out, which day is the best to go to the picnic. Jimmy
Yeah sundays the big day to go, theres also a bbq on at roadstar paintworks (chelsea) in the morning, anyone going to that??
Sundays the biggest day, although Saturday has nearly as many bands as Sunday and numbers are starting increase over the last few years. There is also a Rockabilly/Rock 'n Roll dance in Pakenham Saturday night being held by the rock and roll apprecitation society.
never miss it, sunday is definatley the biggest day, only been a couple of times saturday good thing is you dont get the sunday crowds.
Sunday is the bigger day but try and make it to the main street of Pakenham on Saturday night Between 6 and 10pm. The main street will be closed to normal traffic and anyone can bring their ride down and cruise up and down the main drag.
Replying to my own post...how sad. Roadstar is having their little shindig on the saturday afternoon from 1 I believe. I'm gonna head to that after seeing everyone at sandown.
