Had a great day at the Kustom Nats. Lots of new cars and the place was packed. Well done to Choppa and the crew. Can't wait till next year.

The Merc with the flames, belonged to a good friend of mine "Steve Crotty" wishes he would have never sold that car. My cousin Ruben did the Flames & Pinstriping!
    Thanks for the Pics

  11. 55 we spent about 10 or so days driving around the south island.
Landed in Christchurch, spent new years in Queenstown etc. all the usual touristy stuff(no car stuff though) and pretty well circumnavigated the entire South Island. I think we did something like 2500kms in 3 ton campers. It mightn't sound like much, but when you consider how many mountains and one lane bridges we crossed it felt like 10,000 kms.

What can I say you guys have a beautiful country. For the life of me I can not understand why you guys would won't to leave it and come and live here. If it wasn't so cold in winter I'd move there in a heartbeat.

It looks like your hot rod scene is fairly close knit also.

Ah so you've been and gone, we have a week in Christchurch next week so looking forward to that, south Island is pretty cool, I saw a good chunk in my late teens/early twenties on a couple of road trips I took, the roads are great and there are very few folks on em.
Its not that cold all over, most of us hardly ever see a frost let alone snow we save that for them down south, I think you missed the 40 deg day in Christchurch the other week ?
    Sounds like a good time.

  13. yeah we had a blast. We will be back, next time I think we will do some car stuff.
